So today we went VISITING. And that's always fun, except when it isn't. But let me lead you on my adventures today....
First we went to see my aunt, who is very sad and depressed because her fuckfaced husband went to jail on Wednesday. FUCK YEAH, I said. HELLS YEAH, even. I danced and sang. Anyway! We went to see her, and someone started knocking on the door. They didn't come in when my aunt told them to, so I was sent on a mission to usher in her guests!
...I am a welcome mat.
Me: Hello?
Chick At The Door: Heeeey, is [fuckface] home?
Me: (How high can someone get!)
Me: No, eh, he's not.
CatD: Oh. Yeah, you tell him [me] and [stoner boyfriend] came to see him. He'll know why.
Me: ....
Me: Yeah, he's in jail.
Me: (FOR TRAFFICING DRUGS TO PEOPLE LIKE YOUUUU)
CatD: ....Uh. Never mind.
lol I'm pretty sure I went to high school with her. Not at all surprised to see that she was there to buy the magic grasses off the douchehole, though. SIGH.
Second we went to my great uncle's house! He is hilarious and I find him crazy and amazing. It wasn't until we went outside to look at the flowers his wife had been planting that afternoon (as we drove in she was putting down the last bulb) that we saw them: GIANT MOOSE TRACKS, ALL OVER THE LAWN. A-Apparently the giant moose was visiting at the same time as us and we somehow missed his bumbling entrance.
And then, like the geniuses we are, we followed the tracks to try and find the moose. Sadly, he remains MIA.
The last adventure left me in glee, for I got to hug and pet my darling bride ♥ at Blockbuster. And her older sister, my massa. :Db
ALL IN ALL, TODAY WAS PRETTY FUN. But my favorite part is still the druggy hooker.

He is also HUGE ON ANIME, my mom says. She's been talking to him about me, which is always nice, in that she knows I really fucking hate it when she talks about me to people. /)_(\ BUT NO.
He's tried to talk her into watching the Bleach anime, I think. A-And um. Sob. He's coming to dinner tomorrow, so we'll... probably end up talking about it orz. I SINCERELY HOPE HE ENJOYS MORE THAN JUST BLEACH AND NARUTO because otherwise I will cry in my soul. And not share my DVDs. At all.

... The town constable was in our doorway for twenty minutes telling us how our dog isn't allowed to be outside on her own in spite of the fact that there is no leash law here. Why? Because someone complained about her running over the border.
The best part is, he told us he had a gun on him. He said he didn't normally; So lol are we just that cool? We got an armed officer! Then he told us the only reason he had his gun was that he had to run a few miles into town to investigate RABID CATS on the border down there.
So, in conclusion:
Dog with a collar and tags > rabid stray cats

Our dog's IQ is flimsy and I think I can finally prove it.
I heard her start whining and crying at about two am. She does this when someone in the house is still awake; oh you're uuuup so am IIIII pet meeee and give me loooove. And I never do because it's two in the morning, go away I am pretending to sleep and you are ruining it for me. (I'm terrible, I know.)
So I eventually got up to get ready for sleep (at quarter of three oh I am made of the win) and the bathroom door was shut tight. No big, since we learned months ago that we either close it or risk the chance that the kittens will play in things they should not.
I had not expected that the dog had run into the bathroom and closed herself in hours before.
So here's to you, Miss Rosa. You managed to lock yourself in a tiny room. Congratulations. I only ask that you never do it again because I hate cleaning up after you and the cats. And stop messing with the bottles on the shelf I do not want to arrange them at three in the morning.
I am such a cat person hahahaaaa...
edit: Took the dog to the Rabis Clinic. She is afraid of small cats.

Auuugh my legs huuuurts ; ; AND FOR SO MANY REASONS. Let me list them all.
1) While cleaning the car off (damn you, snow), I managed to forget that the entire driveway is coated in several inches of ice---ice which is so deep and around my tires that my car is useless until it thaws. So I slid on the ice and wound up crashing and falling UNDERNEATH MY GRANDMOTHER'S CAR augh my shin and thigh.
2) Within the first twenty minutes of being at work, I was hit no less than three times with a baseball bat. Once to the back (ajlksdf), but twice extremely hard to the thigh.
3) Walked into a counter. The counter is THIGH HIGH.
Today just feels like a great day to stop doing things. Sob. But on the plus side I get to ditch this popsicle stand for a few days next week and I am more than okay with that. /o/ but I bet I am completely bruised by then.

TRUE STORY: I have been ODing on a lot of subbed anime this week, since I'm still without a computer. And so after watching two seasons of subbed Sailor Moon and half a season of subbed DBZ, my flu-addled brain stopped registering subs as a tv-only thing.
As in, my mom walked into my room and started talking about what to make for dinner, and I looked down and tried to read what she was saying.
This is a fever-induced win.

Sweeney is coming this Christmas!, says the giant poster outside the theatre. Sweeney Todd starts playing in February, says the theatre itself. Whatever. I FINALLY SAW IT and ended up being so terribly judgemental of it that the only two other people who went to see it probably would have been disappointed.
FIRST OFF: Boy can that Severus Snape carry a tune. This phrase should sum up the entire thing, only I took a lot of issues with HBC, because she wasn't half as fruity or delightful as Angela Lansbury. :( Sad me in freezing rain.
Keeping my highly opinionated self to a minimum, I will say that I liked this Johanna and Toby. I'm really, really glad they could both, you know, SING. Not that... the Toby couldn't in the oh so fantastic George Kearn version. He just sounded like a thirty-year old man who'd been clubbed upside the head and forced to slave for a twenty-something Italian nutjob.
It was okay overall. I enjoyed it, but not as much as I have enjoyed other things. I liked the sets, and I did like most of the singing (though why they cut out the Ballad and shortened everything I wish I knew because it makes me cry inside). But the worst part was the blood.
I dare you to deny me this.

AN UPDATE ON MY AUNT:
She fell down twice the other day and her grandson, my eight-year old bipolar ADHD cousin, had to get himself up and dressed and ready in the morning. He didn't tell his mom that Nana had fallen until they were hours away, en route to paternal grandparents' house.
So she called here, and my grandmother called her daughter my aunt. (My family is confusing and for that I apologize.) She didn't get an answer, so grandma called the sheriff. HURRAY. The sheriff went down to my aunt's, discovered that she was physically unable to even lift a phone, and called an ambulance.
TURNS OUT THAT SHE'S BEEN STARVING HERSELF.
I... don't even know. It's pretty bad. Her daughter rushed home to take care of her (she was sent down there by ambulance last night), and her son drove up from southern New Hampshire around midnight to be with her (whiiiich is not a fun drive!). And lucky me is now getting paid to watch over small children and one crazy aunt.
Someone stop the world, I lost my sane hat.
